VIDEO CPA TECHNOLOGY INCREASES CTR
Video has been around now for several years as a marketing tool, but to date has
been very hard to monetise effectively.
Well, those days are now over and we internet Marketers stand at the precipice of a
different era. What we see and how we relate to what we see will direct how we navigate or use the latest
technology.

To date, video has largely been used by those who are seeking their fifteen minutes of fame
with the more serious users reverting back to article marketing and other text related systems to get their
messages across to their target market.
Audio raised a possible solution to the problem briefly but never really took off. One of the reasons I suggest
it never took off is because too many people got too big a fright from the way it was used. When one is used to
sitting at the computer in their PJ's early in the morning reading emails and enjoying a quiet cup of coffee,
having this voice boom at you from nowhere, really was / is very nerve-wracking!
Now due to the large increase in articles that have been re-written from those that
were originally re-written, the quality of information garnered through these articles has now become doubtful due
to the rehashed versions being rehashed.
It is an unfortunate truth that to date the internet has largely been a words only
based medium for communication. Words and text will always be a necessary part of relaying messages and information
on the internet but someone once wrote a song "A picture's worth a thousand words..."? And I think Dean Martin sang
it in his beautiful melodious voice; and many entrepreneurs it would seem agree wholeheartedly with the
sentiment.
Especially as technology has now stepped up to the mark and provided a way from which money can
be made from using video to inform, encourage, relate and get people to take direct action.
This direct action now incorporated into the video itself is a huge breakthrough for
Internet marketers as it combines the direct marketing principles into a visual, audible and actionable method of
marketing goods and services.
Not only is this an excellent system for those people working on the internet as
marketers but before too long, I suggest it could well challenge contextual marketing in a serious way as nothing
before has been able to.
Before this enabling occurs though, there is still some mindsets that have to be
altered; and that is with IM'ers themselves. These direct action videos don't have to be of movie quality. They
have to get the message across. That is their purpose. One way of doing this, is of course, by entertaining people
but they don't need to be "Gladiator" productions to do this in a memorable way.
Yes, I believe video will allow an easy way to get brand recognition too but it will
allow direct action along with brand recognition, so consistent advertisers will be able to cut-out one leg of
gaining market share or domination.
This latest news in Video technology heralds an exciting time for
those prepared to step across the precipice and claim their cyber space.
