Review of Three Known Traffic Portals
The first Traffic Portal (TP) I heard about was BruteForce SEO (EVO11) from Peter Drew. The
second Traffic Portal I heard about was Free Traffic System and the latest one is Brad Callen's SEOLinkVine.
These types of websites haven't been “officially” named on the Internet as yet, but once their
activity becomes better known, I believe most people will find traffic portal to be a reasonably accurate description to
describe their function. And it is a good function for all concerned.
What traffic portals have opened up for authors and wordpress blog owners; and other website
owners, is a new avenue of gaining free, unique and quality articles. Most blog owners start life
enthusiastically and blog very frequently. This is needed so that content gets added to their blog and gives it
credibility and value. A 'post-less' blog soon dissolves into the depths of cyberspace and it's passing is not
noticed. Thereby becoming just more 'space' junk.
But by blog owners adding their reputable blogs into a portal to receive free and unique content
on a regular basis, opens up a whole new universe of available information and gives the blog a new life span.
The blog is updated regularly if it is a nice looking, non-spammy blog with a unique approach to a subject. This
is needed simply because if your blog isn't “up-to-par” no author will choose to publish their article on it.
Why would they want to? So the quality of blogs is raised and spammy blogs simply aren't accepted into the
portals.
The most comprehensive and highly technical portal I found was Peter
Drew's BruteForce EVO11. This is definitely one for the experienced Internet marketer who has a high level
of technical expertise. A well-heeled credit card would also be handy as it is a membership site after the 7 day
free trial and doesn't come cheap. It is like a full-course a-la carte meal at a 6 star restaurant.
Free Traffic System was the next one I heard about and remains
my favourite. Simply because it says what it does and offers more to anyone who either wants to and has the
technical expertise to go further. If you chose not to go further then you can remain indefinitely as a free
member and still receive many benefits. This one fitted my level of limited-expertise very well and I remain a
very happy blog owner and article marketer. This is a 'meat and potatoes-with-sourcream & chives' traffic
portal.
The latest Traffic Portal I have heard about is Brad Callen's SEOLinkvine. Unfortunately it no longer gives backlinks for articles added to their
compendium of blogs, which is a serious drawback. If you are simply wanting more traffic and aren't too
concerned about receiving backlinks for your efforts, then I am reasonably sure you will get a deal of good
targeted traffic simply because Brad is a very well known Internet Marketer and has a large loyal following. One
day he will open the membership site up again for authors and publishers but today you can only submit your
unique articles there for publication on the blogs but get no back links for your effort. Once again, it is a
monthly membership site that isn't cheap. I would say this is like a Swiss Chalet meal with a liquor
licence.
Traffic Portals are the future for article marketing and as time goes on, I
expect we will see more and more opening up ready to take our article marketing further than ever before.
