To gain a high ranking position in the search engine results pages of Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask and any number of
other smaller search engines, you will need to build backlinks. Backlinks can come naturally over time from
visitors or from engaging in blog activity or other web 2.0 activities.
Some back links are "no follow" and some are "do follow" so not all web 2.0 activity will amount to the same
value to you. A 'no follow' link will give your website or blog no link value at all so you need to know how to
find the good blogs/websites that will give you some 'link juice'.
I am a great believer in the developing process of Traffic Portals and my favourite one
is both free or paid and is the Free Traffic System.
These people offer a great service, are easy to use and if you opt for the paid version, it isn't going to break
the bank or encourage embarrasing phone calls from an irate credit card company. The free information they
give to all their members is very helpful.
Here is a video explaining how to find the difference between a "no follow" and a "Do follow" backlink
